Women Dentists

Many patients tell me that they specifically looked for a female dentist when they moved to Grand Junction.  They feel that women dentists listen more carefully and take more time to communicate during procedures.  Statistics show that female dentists are more likely to spend more time communicating with patients.  I feel the importance of establishing rapport and trust with a patient cannot be overemphasized.  That takes time and communication.  Many patients have felt safe enough in our office to speak freely of their fears concerning dentistry and felt safe enough to get dentistry done despite years spent avoiding the dentist.  We work to make sure patients ready for a comfortable, healthy, confident smile.
